I think liner and shell are correct for a ca. 1967-68 era helmet, but it's safe to assume the cover will be 1970's-early 1980's dated unless you're lucky. However, original 1960's dated Mitchell covers in a matching condition are easy to find and not very expensive. A dated elastic helmet band may be a bit more expensive though.

Look for the 1969 Duck Pattern ERDL stamp below. Also printed in a somewhat different ink/paint that sits on the fabric surface rather than absorbed into the fabric such as the example below. That particular surface stamp is difficult to photograph.

Here it is.
Shell has single marking, liner has dome marking along with suspension marking. The cover has a trace of a stamp - looks like it washed out over time.

The liner could be dated on the webbing near one of the temples. Shell is indeed correct as stated above. You could think of getting a Mitchell-pattern cover, these are easy to find and the type used during the whole Vietnam-war.
