You could think of getting a Mitchell-pattern cover, these are easy to find and the type used during the whole Vietnam-war.

This particular one was issued to a USMC Force Recon friend and was off shore during the evacuation of Saigon.

Those guys spent a lot of time in Boonie hats.

Default The Fall of Phnom Penh April 12, 1975

the late war ERDL camo covers like yours were often seen in Cambodia during the Fall of Phnom Penh in 1975

A US soldier stands guard as America pulls out of Cambodia. Since early morning, secret evacuation orders have been passed around Phnom Penh. Operation 'Eagle Pull' was underway in the gulf of Thailand and a wave of helicopters had begun airlifting Americans and their friends to an awaiting aircraft carrier prior to the fall of Phnom Penh and the arrival of the Khmer Rouge.
