Hey guys, i just found this helmet for sale. I haven't bought it yet . i was hoping for some info, i am usually a German collector. Why is this helmet white? Was it done during or post war? Any help would be great, thanks!

It is post WWII probably 1950's.
If you will notice the color of the webing it is what is known as OD # 7.
WWII liners had , as far as I know , a lighter more kaki color called OD # 3.

from the looks of the last picture the webbing looks like a dark green if so this is a 1950's M-1 liner.
