Article about: After doing a bit a research, I suspect this helmet shell to be WW2 era, i.e. fixed bales, front seam. The heat stamp looks like "192B". It is pretty rusty, but there are remnants

    After doing a bit a research, I suspect this helmet shell to be WW2 era, i.e. fixed bales, front seam. The heat stamp looks like "192B". It is pretty rusty, but there are remnants of blue/gray paint. Any more info from the photos would be much appreciated.

    Very nice relic Pablo, I'm with the other guy's with it being potentially USN.

    Definetly WW2 front seam fixed bail stainless steel band puts it to at least 1943. timothy
