I was so confused by all the replys, that i decided not to buy it.
It was around 100$, if not mistaken.
Cheers.

[/SIZE]Have a look at my 20+ (so far, work in progress) albums for lots of M1's, rare liners and other stuff, including WW2British helmets, Falklands battlefield pickup helmets and let me know what you think!

I think Nuno that was a wise decision $100 was to much for it anyway.
The main things I look for with liners are.
1/Colour of the suspension kaki
2/A front eyelet
3/Snap on rivets on the nape strap.
4/If its been repainted.
5/And most importantly as stated the makers mark.
I think there was something like 36 000 000 made so with a bit of patience you will get a nice one. And please post it, i am sure someone can help if need be.
All the best
Rod
$100? That is nuts. A guy at the flea market got a W.W.2 helmet liner at the auction. He put the chinstrap and sweatband on e-bay. Starting bid was $45. He sold it. Rich A. in Pa.
