yes if all these marks match to the shell & liner then they have been together for a while just a shame if thats the case its been taken apart !!!!

ok, i will be posting more pictures when i get it and of thhe other side which there are no photos of what so ever. i am just hoping that the leather chinstrap comes in one piece. i cant really tell if it is bllack or green from the photos

The helmet cover really looks great, but it's a fake. You normally want to see closeups of the stitching on the edges and down the middle, which aren't provided, and you always want to be wary until you see those. BUT... there is a mistake in the pattern that has been attributed to a known reproduction.

the rust marks line up with the pot so i am going to keep it and the pot and cover have 19 written on them also.

It looks legit to me.
Just my opinion.
The stitching around the bottom is good (beach side has shark stitching).
Double stitching down center of beach side.
Also the HBT looks good - /// /// instead of ///\\\
I too would like to know why gitana is saying its a repro.

i have the helmet so if you want anny photos of anything or maybe of the other side let me know. also, the leather strap on the liner is very frail and is very fragile. i want to know if you think i should put it on or leave it off. the helmet is sitting on a cushion and not on a stand so the pot will put pressure on the strap
