I would imagine it is here because the Feldgendarmerie were uniformed military Police units.

Yes, military police but with the emphasis on military. The Feldgendarmerie were soldiers and part of the Army, not part of the Police, so martinsuper is 100% correct.

Very true. They were a part of the military, but if you look back in this section there were no complaints about the other Feldgendarmerie gorgets that were posted in this section. I'm guessing the OP thought this would be the correct section to post them in. This matter would be up to the MOD's to decide..

I haven't been on the forum for a while. But when I was, these gorgets were moved because they are Army items, not police. If that is not the case anymore, my apologies.

Its not a big deal, simply a matter of accuracy.
You wouldn't put a Luftwaffe piece in the SS section or a Political piece in the Kriegsmarine section so why an Army Gorget in the Police section ?
