    Hello,

were the green police armbands worn by the civil police (in their old uniforms) in the 3 Baltic republics ?

In the book - "Germanys eastern front allies - Baltic forces " it suggests they were worn or the white Schutzmannschaft arm bands used . Bit confusing.

    Dave,
I don't quite understand which "green police armbands" you refer to. That reading "Im Dienste der Sicherheitspolizei"? or "Hilfsgendarmerie"?
According to the Osprey MAA booklet you mention, Estonian civil police wore a green armband, Latvian cops didn't wear any and Lithuanians wore a white Schutzmannschaft armband. Diversified rather than confusing.
