In memory of my father who was in K-Einsatz, combat engagement, with the RAD in the Alps in 1945, of my grandfather who was with the IR 87 during campaign in France in 1940 and of my grand-uncle who served in the Gardegrenadierregiment Nr. 3 "Königin Elisabeth" and who was killed in action at Craonne, Chemin des Dames in France in 1917

It is a post-1945 German Police tunic made from the same mottled-green half-linen fabric lightweight Third Reich Police tunics were made from ( I assume that left-overs were used).
It is easily recognizable by the open collar and the four-button front closure which was not the style of Third Reich Police tunics (apart from a very few notable exceptions). Other minor construction details are also give-aways.
Collar tabs are either German post-war police or have been made-up on purpose, in both case they are n o t Third Reich Police.
