Landwacht cap insignia real??

Not long ago, as i was making my way into the world of WW2 militaria and into this forum i posted these pictures,but as i didnt know the procedure i posted them in the same thread as a das forum kino fantasy coin so perhaps (i think) everyone tought the thread wasnt serious. Sadly not many people replied the thread and since then i have had the doubt about its authenticity. I would like to know what you all think (if its real or not) and in the case of it being real how much would you guys pay for it, i thank you all in advance, Johnson.

I think i can see a 7 marking on the right side, perhaps the manufacturer...

Don't know about this one, but I have had a few of these through my hands and everyone had a tinnie type pin fastening on the reverse, not prongs. I have even had them made of moulded glass!
Last I read nobody knew quite what it was for.

I have obtained several of these over the years in veteran's caches. I have seen them with both pin and prong backings. The title and design would indicate that these were an identification worn by civilian police auxillaries in the latter days of the 3rd Reich.
