Where did you find a handle eagle for sale? I NEED ONE TOO! For that matter, I would probably buy a few to stock up!

i dont have much for police items. but here it is.

You have TWO very nice police bayonets. One rural and one city! What are the district numbers on them?

better shot of the dist. markings. on the SD V on both the scabbard and the knife, the last 3 numbers were changed. from what i can see the original numbers matched, as do the new numbers. on the other police numbers match.

Lg = Lueneburg
178 = Police Number

S = Schutzpolizei
D = Dusseldorf
V = Fifth Precinct/Detachment

Thanks mate I thinks it's nice to.
The ensignia is coming from that retired US airforce Major(snyders),the only example i could find anywhere so I took a chance.It's been a while now so i hope it's just being held up by Xmas.
