Supposed to be a badge worn by a member of the Police. Looks a bit strange.

This would be a Police stick pin...would have been worn by a polic memeber or a supporter of the police, if I'm not mistaken.

    It does look strange.

It looks to be cast instead of stamped. This is not original. Also why someone would go to the trouble of faking a $10 item is beyond me. It is meant to be worn by members of the police when in civilian dress or in a suit. Something to that effect. Often mistaken for the Army Civilian Workers Tinnie.

    Hi MartinSuper

Thanks for your ID. It is strange that it should be fake, it takes more time to make the false copy compared to the price. However I have put your comment in my album.

I will write my dealer and tell him that he has sold me fake stuff.

    Best regards
    John :-)

I remember seeing one like this on Gun Broker. So I just went over there looking for a picture to show and could not find one anymore. To be very specific, the front looks somewhat OK, its the back, in particular the upper left where the wing meets the wreath that bothers me. The back of this should be smooth.
