In the latter book, Pol.Btl 67 has 2 pages of narrative (including footnotes).
More or less the same with Campbell's book.

The "Police Battalions" book by Stephen Campbell is a good research book on the subject. Not filled with spectacular photos or fluff, it's pretty straight forward dry history, but invaluable for this area of study. Steve was a good friend and fellow collector and his sudden death several years ago came as a shock for his family and myself. He would take the time to talk or assist anyone with questions on the PBs. He is greatly missed. RIP buddy...

I agree, S Campbell's book is possibly the best single comprehensive source on Police Battalions in their entirety. Photographs are OK, in my opinion. It's a pity that the size of the book and the vastness of the subject may have restricted an ampler presentation.
