Water police penant ?

Hi guy's i purchased this a few years ago am i right i saying it's a water police penant, i have not seen another like this and i am wondering if it's a rare item, could anyone kindly give me any info on where and how it would be displayed, thankyou in advance Ronnie
P.s the colour is a little darker than shown due to flash.

Absolutely gorgeous! I mean it. I seems to be Water Police and may have been used on a water craft. There may have been cotton bunting over the "hoist edge" with a looped rope underneath or with metal clips attached, once upon a time. That piping is great too. I think it should be displayed with the rest of my Polizei items, thank you. Har, har! Thanks for sharing though!

Hi Ronnie/Guys, sorry but this is an old fake. These actually date from the 1980's. The problems with this are:

Oval wreath to the swastika
Round head to the eagle
Short body to the eagle
Pronouced acorns on the wreath

Lack of wire stiffener to the pennant itself.

These came in a whole range of colours.
