Re: Equipment stock found in Russia
hi,
the last time a large stock was found in Russia, it was the G43 pouch. They were all found on the world market quickly.
This is surpprenant not to see currently for sale.
But in a general all items that I saw on sale for WW1 was fake. Achieving lot of high quality copy, and then staged a discovery is a very interesting monetary transaction. And as profitable as drug trafficking! And even when the deception value of coins does not Dimina, the object being in the collective memory of collectors
But for the Russian WW2 everything is possible.
for memory one picture of the g43 pouch.

Re: Equipment stock found in Russia
G 43 pouches was found somewhere near Charkow, they are now costs approximately 40 eur each, but seems like survived samples of G 43 pouches is more than K 98 pouches ( I know they exists in this stocks too as a P-08 holsters )
The pouches as in the thread starter was bought in bunch by some of the Russian dealers, and I think he don't want to abuse the market. But this quantity will abuse it anyway

Interesting find. Also interesting is that among this find are a lot of F-1 and RGD-33 granade pouches. It gives the impression that they should be distributed to every Soviet WWII/GPW soldier. Strange enough not so many Soviet WWII/GPW soldiers are photographed wearing a granade pouch on their belt. Specially the F-1 granade pouch. Can someone show me a picture of a Soviet WWII/GPW soldier who is wearing a F-1 granade pouch?

Three-celled F1 pouches were only issued to armored vehicle crews. That is why you don't see any pictures of them and why there are so many of them in storage. They usually only sat in tanks and were used when the crew of the tank were forced to leave it.
