Gas mask from when?
I recently had a gas mask come into my possession. When it was given to me I was told it was of a Russian make. Now I'm trying to find more information on it, because it's a full set of mask, hose, canister, and bag.
Here are the photos of serial, or factory make stamps and the over all set. If there is any information anyone knows about it, that would be greatly appreciated!

What I already know, is that it may be an older version due to eyes being smaller in size. Could this be confirmed?

Re: Gas mask from when?
It looks very similar to those "Death Head" East German gas masks they sell on Keepshooting. (except for the color and the hose)

Re: Gas mask from when?
This set is a cold war era Russian SchMS gas mask. This mask was designed to be issued to those using optical equipment, hence the small eyepieces and flat front to the facepiece. The large circular part on the front of the mask is a voice diapragm in order to make communicating a bit easier. The sizes of the eyepieces of this type of mask remained the same from the first to last batches of these masks, in fact the whole design remained the same.
Thanks
