Looks like a direct copy of the German M36 rangefinder. (Or even a Soviet captured German one rehashed for Soviet use).
It might be possible to compare the "labels" to gleem some info ...
Here's the labels off a German one ... from the same positions

While similar, the tag specs suggest different specs...German one is 1640cm....soviet is 1465cm, and construction is slightly different.....
The maker mark was used pre, during and post war in the ussr I believe

    UPDATE
I found the manual to the device and it is dated 1949, so the model (ЗД) is at least that old. The Novosibirsk website suggests they were making them during WW2? But it could simply be where the model is placed in the discussion ( http://www.opticstrade.com/default.aspx?page=8&news=48 ). It also does share some features with the german model such as the shoulder cradle (don't have) Can anybody help me now that the model has been identified? I have the whole manual if somebody wants to see inside, just PM me and I'll share it.

Apparently the foto dates from 1944 and the liberation of Sevastopol and after looking at several models of soviet rangefinders, it appears that this model may be a wartime model, but as this one is not dated, I cant say on this particular one.
