Thank you, but I dont really understand the text. Is there anything written about the age of this type? I guess its postwar, cause looks very modern with the green and red refractor.

Yeah old, but I would like so much to find a WW2 light. Compared with the German mass products, the Soviet lamps are so rare.

PS By the way, cigarettes "Belomorkanal", that appear on the same picture, also after the war.

During the war they looked very different:

This error is common among foreign re-enactors of the Red Army, apparently she has appeared thanks to such books. I doubt very much that at the front (except the "big bosses"), someone could afford smoke those cigarettes - at war all smoke homemade cigarettes from newsprint, full of strong cheap tobacco ("mahorka"). They cigarettes were called differently - "samokrutka" or "kozya nozhka" ("goat leg").

Yes the cigarettes on the first photo have a postwar ГОСТ-number. But I still dont understand the Russian ГОСТ system. I saw matches with ГОСТ XXXX-45, and they were produced in the 50s. So the last number seems not always to be the year of production.

    For example:

This "Belka" matches have ГОСТ-number 1820-45:

    But were produced between 1953-1957....
