Dear Colleagues,
For the life of me, I am unable to locate any images of the RG 42 grenade in use or being carried on a combatant.
Was there a pouch for these? A satchel? On the belt?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Richie

Hi Richie, they were carried in the same pouch as the F1 grenade.
I know I have seen plenty of wartime images of them, now I just need to find them!
Cheers, Ade.

Great pic. Looks like he is ready for action with the Nagant and grenades.
Many thanks Ade. Gives me a general idea of the look. If you ever stumble upon any more period images, please post them.
I could also use a few F1s for my displays, so if anybody has some to let, or knows of a source, let me know.
Cheers,
Richie
