    These are very nice.

Have you ever found a toothbrush to go inside them?

    Cheers, Ade.

Hi , I wondered if such a thing existed but had never seen any until I saw your pictures.
Are the tootbrush containers easy to obtain?

it is something I need for when we go away on our 2nd Gds events.

I will post more of different containers- soap, teeth powder etc...
But they are quite a rare, due of produced before the Soviet soldier starts to be a "cannon-fodder"

    Thanks Dimas,
they are so simple and practical, yet they are little works of art.

Such a contrast to the weapons and other equipment.

I have a similar case from an Argetinian soldier; but it is steel and not coloured.

The tooth brush containers look similar to British examples from the late 19th - early 20th centuaries- my brotehr in law has several bakerlite & early plastic versions (but will not part with one )

Some tooth brush pics would be good (were they simple brislte & shin bone types?), and tooth powder containers.

Tooth powder can still be found in the UK- try your local Asian store for 'Monkey Brand Tooth Powder'- it is a black powder containing charcoal & menthol (and other ingredients, I guess). It is very effective- I used to use it when i did 18th centuary reenactment.

The teeth brushes is the same as the other armies used. I will look at the powder containers they are hidden somewhere in the boxes
