Re: Soviet GP5 mask display
Mate at a quick glance it looks like a shrunken head, might be a bit scary getting to sleep in your room! In all seriousness it is quite effective mounted on the wall like that, well done.

Hi Tom,
Here is a photo of the mounts, I basically just used a foam head, wrapped in black material (Which I think looks pretty good)!
I just used some standard picture framing equipment! Any questions just let me know!

Re: Soviet GP5 mask display
Nice display....I love the GP-5's.....nice historical masks for just $12-$20. Do you have a GP-6?

I'm about to be really anal here about designations, but the so called "GP6" is in fact called a PMG-2/GP5M.......... Just a random little fact
Thanks

Are you sure? The GP-6 is a variant of the 5.

100%. The GP5 is its own thing, the only facepiece variation is the colour and sizes. The PMG-2 or GP5M is essentially a GP5 that has a voice diapragm on the front of the facepiece and holes for the wearers ears in order for it to be used comms equipment.
Thanks
