Which comprised the seal, correct?
Not at all, the seal the mask creates is about an inch or so in front of the ears of the wearer, the hood is a characteristic that Russian masks have had since the First World War that eliminated the requirement for a head harness. However on more modern Russian masks the hood design has been left in the past for a conventional head harness like the vast majority of modern masks.
Thanks

You are believing what wikipedia says? The face seal is achieved where the mask first contacts the skin of the wearer all the way around the facepiece, which isnt anywhere near the ears.
Thanks
