Hi all who can help me telling what kind of object this is? It is made of solid silver and Ik looks a bit like a medal ribbon bar and it is 11,5 cm long and 2cm wide.

If I understand correctly, it was given to this man; Y.S.Agranov, whom I assume was some kind of supervisor by the workers as a gift or token of respect. I believe that this was not uncommon in other factories/collectives.
I'll ask my Russian colleagues for further info, if there is any to be provided, next time I visit their forum.
Perhaps Dim may know something also.

I think this is a plate for a kind of weapon, most probably for a holster, circa late 20's, early 30's
