My recent absence on the forum - What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

Article about: Good evening gents, I haven't been on the forum for a few weeks and being keen not to be thought of as having lost interest I thought I might explain why. I am a keen motorcyclist and on Wed

    Default Nearly there!

Almost ready to get back in the saddle.

    Just to follow up on my recent adventures in the freestyle tarmac bouncing game;

Bought this one today; A Yamaha MT09 Tracer. A little less BHP and torque than the Fazer but the closest thing there seems to be on the market at the moment.

I am still a little "crunchy" and my right (throttle and brake) hand is not quite up to it but I need to be prepared right?

    Yamahahahaha!

Good on you Mark. I'm happy to see you're getting at it again.
That is a very cool looking bike. It looks very nimble. Fun for tight, curvy roads.

It won't be long before riding season is done for me. Right now it is 2ยบ C. and windy.
Had snow flurries this morning but it's gone now.

    All the best,

Yep it's called a "Tracer" and many miltary men will be familiar with the expression "Watch my F****ng tracer!!"

Nice looking bike. All my early bikes were Yamaha's.

    Hey Mark,
    sorry I missed this post!
Glad you are on the bike again.

Seems like I had more luck when bumping into a car a few years ago (must be somewhere here on the forum...)
Yes, seen that , been there etc...
I also got back into the saddle after that, but now the bike didn't move fore nearly 2 years and I don't think I will ever ride again (her in Belgium).
We do have a road code here, but it seems only to apply to motor vehicles, (ordinary) bikes just pop up every where , anyhow,... these days.
It seems they do not have to live (drive) by the same road code, so I had it.
I am even considering banning the car but that is'n t possible yet!

    Stay safe!

    cheers
