The un ending heart break associated with "sculls." Go ask Bob Hritz if he has any duplicates. I did recently, and he does not seem to, but try again. He says there is a world wide shortage, made worse by the speculative frenzy of a handful of berserk collectors who have scooped up all of these and strangle the rest of us. Wolfe Hardin also has these, too, but at the original usurious prices. It is droll, really.
Well after two fakes, I think I've now found a good one! I'm very confident about this one, let me know what you think.

Cheers for your thoughts, I have purchased it so will put up more photos when I have it. The seller wrote in it's description he believes it is period repaired- though it doesn't matter too much to me, is there a way to differentiate between a period alteration and a modern example of the same? In the end, what the back of these things look like doesn't bother me.
