It is a genuine skull and was part of the hundress (thousands???) that were found in Berlin, several years ago. The finish is damaged on all I have seen, from that hoard.
Those that have all the original finish intact are far more valuable and collectible.

It is original and you can find those almost everywhere.
Thanks for your help
I did not know the story, that years ago, in the demolition of a building, they found hundreds of skulls SS
Greetings
It wasn't normally for the SS, but Brunswick Kavallerie Regiment.
but the first pattern skull ( a lot of variations!) was also used on the early black caps, sometimes even on later cap's.
and here on a more recent cap.
The soldiers of the two photographs, belonging to the SS, in general
Thank you very much for that information
Hello again:
Today I received the skull that I bought, but not the same that showed the seller. It is different
You could say, if this skull that I have received is genuine or false? I think yes, but I want confirmation
Thank you very much for the help again
Javi, you have been duped !
This is not what was advertised or what you expected.
If the one you received is an original, it may or may not be of the
same value as the one you paid for and thought
you were going to get.
I cannot understand why a dealer would be doing this sort of thing,
unless he's got a box full and just grabs any old one.............
