Are you sure about that. I do not have that particular knowledge.
What I know is the cap came from the person mentioned and is in
this collection. He got it as such with the complete uniform from the
doctor's family.

1000% sure, I have seen a lot of fakes eagles and skull on well known collectors books. It is the well known "ss360" type skulls

From what I can recognise from it's cap on the photograph,It must be a Assmann skull like this one. Note that the skull above is a fake inspired by the Assmann design.

I will ask the owner. Maybe he knows about the manufacturer.
He owns the cap for many, many years. That's for sure!

You can ask him for better picture's, But I know that skull is fake.

I will do my best. I know the owner can't photograph that well.
Maybe I have photo's (a close-up), which I used for the book.
But that will take a while!
