Early Cap Eagle, mm RZM 91

I cannot say that this badge was on this cap since the start of time, but it is the same 1934 cap badge of the NSDAP as you show.

Bob Coleman is the man on this kind of thing.

This self same cap is in the Hayes book.

It is one that I did not sell by accident and later learn it was in a popular pictorial work....!

PS I thought of changing the badge, but then that is stupid, really.
So it stays where it is and as providence brought it to me.

Hey Milan , the eagle you posted here has been produced for wear on the Political Leader´s hat. Have attached for you some pictures. It was a common practice for members of the Allgemeine SS to use this eagle on their hats. Several photos are confirming it. The RZM ( Reichszeugmeisterei ) stopped that practice in 1935 and permitted SS members only to wear their special kind of eagle. That´s why you find that eagle only on hats used before 1935. Sorry for the bad quality of the Political Leader´s portrait.
