Re: A little more help with SS skull/eagles Info & authenticity
The cap eagle is Heer (Army) and is original.
Do a search within this forum on the skulls. Search the RZM numbers on the reverse of each badge.
Cheers, Ade.

There's is enough material for you to make the differences for yourself, that's the way you learn It.
If not, you can ask precise question about a item (or more), and we'll try to help you out.
As already stated above, the Army cap eagle is a nice original.

Re: A little more help with SS skull/eagles Info & authenticity
Thanks Sid , i have learned a fair amount since joining this forum thanks to peoples help & posts .
I have managed to gain the answers for most of my collection through the site & research bar one !
My main question is at present the 499/41 head , i have read and read and still none the wiser , i get who & where made them but is it genuine or not ... i have no clue , it was sold as genuine but that was verbal not by you guys who have been at this for years and can spot right or wrong at a glance usually.
Im still learning but with learning you still need advice.
Thanks again & best wishes

Here you go, this maybe of some true help as well friend, read Carlsson post. By the way, if this forum has been so good to you, you may want to become a member. It is well worth it IMO and is much cheaper than these things at only $25 a year! A great way to give back to something which gives so much without asking anything in return. Good luck!
