Mr Winkelmann and Carolsson are the persons of gravitas here.

There surely exists an Overhoff Hoheitszeichen, whether this object is one of these or not I will leave to someone else.

Regarding this eagle, I had reply from Carlsson that this one is a modern copy. Thank you Carlsson. All the best.

    Thank you FB as well.

Well, if he says it is bum, then bum it surely is.

I do not spend all my time in an intense search for fakes. I look for and analyze real things, since the fakes are a bottomless pit.

Besides, many of those who pose as experts are not, but, in this case, I rely on Winkelmann and Carlsson and others. I also rely on Bob Hritz,
but he is elsewhere and so forth.

The key to collecting SS cap badges is to collect them in situ, where they also look sensible.M1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagleM1/24 SS cap eagle
