The Brits give him and he returned in this jacets back to home.
No Britisch pants survived but the two jackets yes.
Saturday I will have some time and I make pics and I show you.
About insignia on prisoners uniforms you have a look for a old pics from Conc camp. Very offten the uniforma were witchout insignia

Maybe he was smarter like you think and he take this uniforms as a memory for him and this way dear Warrgriff I have a very rare thing ,don,t you think ? (:

Gusen camp was a part of Mauthausen- Gusen.
A sender was murdered in February 1945

Peter, FSS40 is the shortcut of the maker / company, manufactured this canteen in 1940

It could be.Im no expert in producers code marks
I try to find a producer witch those marks but unsuccesfull.
But generaly it dosent change the fact he taken this canteen witch prisoners uniform from Bergen Belsen Conc. Camp.

As I wrote, this is a maker´s shortcut and the year of manufacture, not a code !

Who is a producer?
The point is who is exatly a producer of this canteen.
Because we know only three letters and numerical code.
Your opinion still dosent change anytching for me, producer is stil unknown.
