Metal skull

Hello!
I got this skull from a freind. I dont know if it has anything to do with the waffen SS? Is it some fake skull or something autentic?

I am not a "scull" expert, but it looks like it is off in some spots. Maybe a variation. Not sure. Hopefully one of the guys who knows these things in and out will help you out.

The prongs, jaw line and other are suspect to me but I do not have the knowledge to be certain.

Yes, I agree. The patina looks fine to me, as does the detail and so on.

It just needs a hat. It would have gone well on this cap, which eluded my sticky grasp.
