These are two specimens, and I will post the interior later. The officer's cap is marked "Elegant," and the other was made by a west German firm for the SS Gruppe West and was a proverbial non RZM cap. A true example. Both are shown in books, but that is not why I own them......

Its maker is unknown. It is ex the Mollo collection via some notable collectors and dealers. It is now lodged with its brethren in a heap. It will outlast me.

I look upon this fact with irony and detachment fully conscious of my mortality, as well as the fragile nature of these items. However, we should take good care of them and assure that they find an adequate home.
