M 1/52 with the big logo is made out of nickel-silver
M 1/52 with the tiny logo is made out of brass - early Version around 1934 I think

MM I think you are correct.
I have this small one 52 in my collection but partialy destroyed
the one with the smaller hallmark is indeed the earlier variant, the front is also a bit different..
