Sorry chris i can not help you but i can say that it is amazing item.great display.great for a collection.
Ren Wax is only a protectant and not a cleaner of any type. Just like a car wax..but Ren wax is an acrylic finish. Regards Larry

Larry thanks for the reply. I use it on many of my items such as helmets, awards, dog tags etc It gives a nice finish. I haven't try to apply it yet on a corroded item and see if it stops the corrosion permanently or if it keeps going inside.
I will try the vaseline on these ones. I think that vaseline exists also in liquid form and maybe that one would be a better choice.

I have applied vaseline and looks better. I removed the vaseline and then sealed it with Renaissance wax. Now they are ready for mounting
