Please put your pictures in the correct orientation if you would like help. Thanks
Hmmm, they didn't look like that when I uploaded them. I'll see if I can get it fixed.
It's a nice SS visor hat set and in better shape than many we see. One seller, I see, has a couple of sets for sale-one of which he somehow managed to sell for abit over $3200, which I consider quite pricey.

Diane,
I have cut/cropped and rotated the photos so the members here can give you a better understanding of these two items and maybe who the makers are. If you are using an Apple device, this is a common issue.
This forum will authenticate items but we generally refrain from providing values (for a variety of valid reasons). That said, I'm sure someone would be willing to help you how and where to look for valuations. Valuation always depends on rarity and condition. These look to be in excellent shape.
The totenkopf is an M1/63. This is the RZM number assigned to the manufacturer Steinhauer & Luck
The Adler is made by The maker is Ferdinand Wagner
As said, others can provide more details.
Based on your other items, you have some fine items that are highly collectable and sought after. I always encourage people to hang on to these family heirlooms. If you are eventually looking to sell these if you have no interest. We have a classified section here on the forum.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

I think they've both been painted silver post war? Observe the apparent silver on the skull pins/pin bases/solder, all curiously the same colour.
If so, that should affect value negatively.
The skull is a M1/52 and is authentic, It's just the paint that makes It look like this. Both are originals like already stated.
