SS cap eagle

Hello chaps, I need a bit of help with this one, well out of my comfort zone. I have made the pics with a scanner so some of the detail is a bit crap, I will make better pics with a camera when I get home tonight if they are needed. It is marked on the back of the swas 'ges gesch', with SS runes in the centre in a diamond.

I'm pretty sure SS runes in a diamond is a fake from what I've learned here but wait for more knowledgeable members to comment.

Thanks guys, it belongs to a friend of mine that comes into my shop with goodies from time to time. He doesn't have a lot invested in it so no huge loss. Nice tip on the SS in diamond there William, thanks.
