The loose eagle is a M1/72 Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart.
However, I'm not 100% certain yours are the same maker, the left one looks like it, but I'm unsure regarding the right one.

Thanks. I do not pry the insignia off of caps. Further, my only interest is that the insignia is authentic. Who made same is of less importance to me than: a.) the insignia are present on the cap--ideally they have always been there, but likely not.... and b.) the badges are authentic and of the era, i.e. not zinc stinkers of the period say 1942 or so.

The collector biotope assigns too much importance to who made a piece of insignia to create an artificial air of scarcity for something that is already scarce and valuable enough without the false exclusivity of this maker thing. It is all well and good, but the outstanding criterion is pre May 1945 or not.

Do see my little essay on cap makers associated with the book I was able to buy on same.

One of these caps here is now that of a fellow personage on this site, but when I owned it, I did not pry it off. The other cap ( on the right) is still with me. It was the property originally of an officer in the SS Totenkopfverbaende, a fact far more important than the contractor for a cap badge.
