The Assman eagle with the VA contract number also appears in alu. It further appears with the M1/17 contract number of the RZM in Buntmetall. The latter was wrongly damned by the "scull" savants as a fake. The halt leading the blind, as it were.

I am no expert other than what little I have learned through the ownership of more than two SS caps.

An analytical person would do well to compare the range of variations among SS cap insignia, to say, that found in those of the army, the air force, and other NSDAP organizations.
