Actually, there have only been six documented makers: Deschler, Assmann, Overhoff, Zimmermann, Hicke, and Wagner.
Schmidhäussler is suspected to be the maker of a rare original style, which is marked E.S. PF., but this is unconfirmed.
The maker of another rare style, marked 394-35, is completely unknown.

It seem's like a lot of you boys have had a lot of dealing with one another, being from the otherside of the pond put me at some disatvantage.

from one litle unknown/known eagle
I am on your side of the pond (Texas, actually), but, thanks to forums like this, I have gotten to know some of these respected colleagues from around the world.
Unfortunately, it is only once or twice a year at major US shows like the MAX and SOS that I have a chance to meet face to face with a few of them (after I have done my best to beat them to the good buys).
Glad to meet you.
