    Based on the photos, a nice eagle, however the maker is not Zimmermann but Ferdinand Wagner.

    OEPSSS, what was I thinking, I already own another Wagner M/8
    , I guess Iam to much thinking about the 499/41 Zimmerman skull that Iam
    looking for

    as I also speak german, I have many "intresting" private connections,
    I also know ex-german soldiers here in Belgium so I can ask around...
    patience is the key...

    Nice original bird, but, as alreade stated, it is a Wagner, not a Zimmermann.

    Maybe it is just the photo, but it looks like it has a finish of some kind. Is it truly bare aluminum? What are the pins made of?
