Sorry both are fake.
Note the pins and the eagles head and the "moustach" on the skull.

As Ade said, the 'stache on the skull is an immediate red flag. We have many images of genuine cap skulls here on the Forum, so if you find another one, be sure to search here and compare it to known genuines before you pick it up and you'll be fine! There are many points to look at with these skulls-the attachments of the prongs, the makers marks inside, the edges for casting signs, etc. Don't feel too bad about getting hoodwinked-some of the newer fakes are getting Pretty damned Good these days! But, like I said, keep comparing them here and you'll be safe! (And save a good bit of money in the process too! You may want to consider joining as a member here-the $25 bucks membership fee is Well worth the savings from the fakers!)
