Well if you know how to spot fakes you know which are real. And the same way around.

Not necessarily so. As Bond points out the originals will remain the same while a never ending stream of fakes appear from various corners of the world.
Why would you want to spend your time becoming an expert of fakes when you could put the effort into learning the originals.
The information you need is here on the site, you just need to put the effort in to studying them, fellow member F-B has posted some originals to get you started.
If the only thing that confuses you is the Totenkopf then you should be able to concentrate all your efforts into studying the originals.
