Default a trio of strange skulls

just wanting to see what info or opinions i can dredge up on these 3.

ok i have 3 pins here that are proving a bit of the curiosity for me.

    #1 small "danziger" type skull.
unmarked 3 prong variety ( cap pin??)

#2 small skull with sword in mouth and laurels around head..
unmarked.. and frankly i got no clue.... any help on this one would be great value/maker/usage etc...

and #3 totenkopf 3 prong variety (bottom prong broke off)
    rzm m9/72 marked.

this one has me thinking fake.. never seen a totenkopf with this prong config... skull seems to be a bit "flat" and did the maker (Wilhelm Kolwitz) ever make totenkopf ??

i figured as much on the third piece, from what i have learned insignia should be m1 / 2 and m9 denotes tinnie/pin makers, just did not know if the mark ever showed up on insignia..
i figured it was a fantasy piece from the prongs.. just never saw one before lol.

btw have you got any more info on the italian piece, it is kind of fascinating.
    thanks

Let us know what you find on the wreath skull. I like it. I was not able to google up any direct matches.

apologies to colleague Whammond, but he knows where this cap went and will then be tolerant of my use of his images as the "baseline" of authenticity, that is, a dictionary of authentic pieces which is among the many fine services he renders to us all...

The "m9' thingy is horrifying in the extreme.

I post authentic pieces in the vain hope that the general level will rise somehow.

The Italian skull is for Arditi of WW1
