Got what appears to be a pre-1936 SS Eagle. No RZM. Opinions?
Metal is very soft and plyable. Actually broke off one of the pins accidentally trying to bend it for display.

It is a cast fake like stated, and very ugly one.

Well any information on how you can tell this would much appreciated. I'd like to be able to spot these things in the future.

I'm no expert but these are made of a harder metal. I once got burnt in my younger days on a bunch of cast bendy fakes

I can tell you that the metal itself was very soft. I could have bent this eagle in half with little effort had I chose to do so.

I dont understand, I thought the authentic eagles were in fact soft metal?
