Yes I think this is,, late war,, Zimmerman
Was founded on a positions late 1944 Division SS Viking
very nice to have provinence with any item, especially wiking, could it be foreign made with these pins? maybe carlsson can tell us, i have read his replies both here and on another forum and appears to know his TKs. george w
I think the SS skull makers sometimes change their technology and some details in skulls constructions.
Maybe in case of this skull subcontractors dosent have flat prongs but have round prongs.
The show must go on and they used round prongs to continue produce of skulls.
Maybe if they have crazy glue in this time they used glue to fastened skull to caps (:
Thanks Peter
Anyway Anders you set is very nice.
Maybe im not a SS eagle fan but skull ho ho ho is a pleasure to see it
Thanks Peter
Guys my last world
Face of Anders skull and face of my skull are simmilar like standardt Zimmerman skulls face.
Face of Ado skull loks more like Deschler type skull.
And of course is painted.
Strange
Thanks Peter
Zimmermann produced skulls and eagles with different prong attachments and from various different materials, cupal, aluminium etc.
The example posted at the start of thread seems to be an original but I would guess, maybe re-painted.
Zimmermann made two different prong attachments for his skulls but the front stays the same.
