Hi Jake, sorry, just a case of looking through all the posts in this section of the forum. Like you say, pics of fakes are more often found.

When you find good one, save the pics into a "good" file for yourself.

the cap at the bottom with the cuff titles is in the Shea Beaver book and I sold it, to boot.

I have 1 eagle were I know it's genuine.

It's got proper and correct marks on the back.
Always show items on this forum before you want to purchase them.
I do it always! It's the best thing you can do when you don't to be ripped of.
This forum is full of expert members whom collect much longer than I.

I don't have close up pictures from the maker marks, but it's discussed on this forum about it's originallity. Payed 150€ for it, which is about 200$.
Try to go for this price and you are happy after the purchase! :-)

ANY skull with "SS" on the back is FAKE.

Eagles can be SS marked.
