I like it looks good no flag expert. timothy
Proper construction, maker marked, good bright colors and a fine size for display. Am not seeing anything amiss on this one.

Hi, the materials look correct, as does the stitching so I would agree that this is a nice clean original. Leon.
Good.

Thanks folks. Seller looked it over for any damage at all, and only found one little pin head sized hole. Too bad they want $475 and won't budge....
if you really really want it, then pay the 475. Then forget what you paid, and enjoy this historical piece.
I have never had any problem paying "to-much" for some of the trinkets i have.
I'd venture a guess and say that the seller must like it too much to want to sell it...or, I, at least, Hope so, as they will be owning it for a Long time to come, at that price...

The seller is a dealer, and as I'm finding is consistently the case, they have all the time in the world to wait for someone eager enough to pay what they want, enough so to turn down my business anyway. At first I thought I was just contacting stubborn dealers, but it's becoming clear to me that they simply as a rule of thumb do not negotiate pricing no matter who it is. This dealer offered to pay the shipping costs, making him the one with the most "generous" concession yet. And of course, he is "already priced less than I paid for it". Dealers must not be very good at buying from people since they all seem to sell their stuff less than they paid for it.
I guess he owns it, he can charge what he wants. There will be other battle flags.
i like to it.
