DAF Kreisfahne

DAF Ortsgruppen fahne are fairly common. This piece is a Kreis level flag and the only one I have ever seen. The standard Ortsgruppen flags had a tan colored corner patch edged with the Ortsgruppen blue. This piece has a redish brown corner patch with black trim, which was the color for Kreis level prior to the introduction of the 1939 uniform insignia.

For me the first Kreis level DAF flag I have seen. Thanks a lot for showing it to us.

As for the Landkreis Bogen... it's located in the east of Bavaria, quite close to the town of Straubing, east of Regensburg. Since 1972 it's part of the newly formed Landkreis Straubing-Bogen.
