DRK Flag Information?

Hi Folks I'm new here and wanted to get some information on this Flag. What's the best way to display this? Is hanging on the wall ok like I have it? And what is this worth. It was in a chest for about 50 years and has now seen the light of day from the vet who brought it back, I also have capture papers on it also. Thanks

Displaying it like that is OK, but in the long term it will cause stress to the fabric. Maybe it would be worth framing up?

Love the flag.
As Ade says above, personally, I would be tempted to swallow the cost and get it specially framed and when it is re-hung, make sure that it is NOT in direct sunlight otherwise it will "kill the colours" on it very fast!

If you do decide to frame it up, either get a specialist to do it for you or, if your wood-working skills are up to it, make the frame etc up yourself, but, whatever you do, DONOT put it behind perspex/plexiglass or normal glass, you need special picture framing glass.

Ade, Jimpy, Nuno at your request, here is the other flags that I have. The first one I purchased from A friends Vets brother. The second banner with the fringe is the other one that came with the Red Cross flag. I have capture papers for this one as well. Unfortunately, the moths got a hold of this one. It must have been on the top in the box for there are several moth holes in it. (Too Bad). Moths=Enemys. Lots of others pennents and medals to come if you want to see. Actually the first picture flag below, has the ends torn like it was flying for some time, and has wear (Which I like)... Any Idea what 15/137 is?

Great pair of flags TN.

Havent got a clue what the 15/137 relates to,I would imagine that it relates to the unit that it was originally issued to, but what it was, I havent got a clue, it will need one of the guys with a larger knowledge of these than me to make the ID for you.
